Shri Rajesh Chechi explaining how the cyber fraud occur and how to report and Sharing the mobile/phone no. for reporting cyber crime

Shri Chechi explained about the various precautions that one can take to prevent cyber fraud and in fact informed that if the fraud is reported within 30 minutes – 1 hours, the same can be easily traced and so in case of fraud the same should be reported immediately, preferably within 30 minutes of incident. He also shared contact numbers of local Cyber cell personnel publicly to help elderly to report any such case of fraud.

Thereafter Shri Sh Rajeev Agarwal, MD Hardicon, also explained in details about the program structure, duration and overview of the topics covered. He further introduced the team members of HARDICON who shall be presenting and conducting the workshop. He also thanked the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology for supporting this initiative of sensitizing the elderly about the benefits and risks of uses of IT and Smartphone.

The programme was well appreciated by the attendees and many senior citizens informed that these programmes are very useful and urged HARDICON to cover more and more senior citizens not only in Faridabad but in whole of Haryana. 

Some of the senior ladies said that they do not operate phone other than for phone calls or WhatsApp messages even they do not have idea to book a taxi online/cancel the same/divert the route which they feel important to understand.  Most of them informed that the course booklet given by HARDICON is very useful to them and it covers almost all the topics that may ease the day-to-day life of elderly women and men. The workshop was carried out from 28^th April 2022 to 5^th May 2022.
